I know 'her'

PotomacBob ๐Ÿšซ

I know how to spell 'her' - but every time I type it, it comes out 'here'- and spellcheck does not catch it.
There are other similar instances where I know how to spell it but type it wrong almost every time.

I am constantly typing "and" when I want "an".

Also there/their/they're. I know which is correct when and which one I want, but I still end up frequently typing the wrong one.

Not as frequent, but "one" when I want "on".

I have never had that problem with her. The spell checks always asked if that is the right word by putting a blue line under it like if I used the wrong "to" when it should have been "too" it also points out if it needs a punctuation mark.

I have a condition that causes my finger to shake. So I frequently press the wrong keys or press keys that I do not intend to press. I also don't press the key hard enough and no character is added.

Other than that, I use incorrect words like 'that' when I should use 'who' when referencing a character.

I catch the majority of my errors during proofreading, unfortunatly, I miss many.

Ernest always typed "used" as "sued."

I have the problem, but I can't think of the word(s). Today is my 3/4 century birthday so my mind is forgetful.

My most recent problem is worse. I don't know if my keyboard is going or I'm getting shaky with something like Parkinson's. But lately when I type, it repeats letters, sometimes more than one. So "there" could end up being "theere." And it's any letter. Sometimes even when I do a cmd/v to paste, it pastes it twice.

He also frequently typed "teh" instead of "the"

Following autoimmune demyelination nerve damage, my left hand reaction time has become slower than my right hand. So for me, when I speed up my typing, it's all words when a change from the left hand to the right hand on the keyboard occurs. That means the becomes hte
I guess Ernest problem was a slower right hand.

I'm only just past 1/2 century, but I've forgotten what I've forgotten. :)
