Seriously, "AJ" is slang for an AJustable wrench, he refers to his beloved as "spanner eyes" because, well, one look from her and his nuts tighten…

He's the only person who's voiced that opinion. But, if everyone did agree on that, my response would still be: The story continues as it continues until the time for that character "to get fucked" is right. Maybe, just maybe, the time will never be right for that to happen because no one but me controls the direction of my stories.

From top (chapter 1) to bottom (whatever the final chapter is, or sometimes the story ends at the end of chapter 1.) At least in English (or American) the story goes from left to right. Often the story is in chronological order. It is rare for the story to start before the main character is born or at least conceived. Usually the story ends before the main character dies. Stories involving residents of the state of Maine may have Maine characters as well as a main character.
