That's a funny one! The sad thing is, it's true. He's my favorite author on SoL and it's very hard to find other stories written in a comparable style or with comparable characters.
Look at the stories of A Acer Custos, especially The Amissum Codex. Of course not exactly like ElSol, but similar enough you might like them. Like ElSol, he has quit writing, but there are nine stories posted.
