Looking for stories using this plot - where the MC is fired by his wife.
There is also a similar story where the wife becomes the CEO or CFO after a merger and gives her husband the worst performing department, expecting him to fail. Any recommendations along these lines would be gratefully received. TIA
Bitter Pills by Argon is along these lines but the hubby is treated like crap by wife and I believe isn't fired but quits and goes to another company

Thank you for the link. I had not come across this one before and I have enjoyed reading it immensely.
Your basic "castrating wife" motif, always popular on SOL, but not by most general readers, as it's part of the whole BTB (Burn the B), cheating wife revenge stories.
I cannot remember any Burn-the-Bitch elements, and I should know, because I wrote the damn thing. Just a couple going through a rough patch, but getting past their problems and being stronger for it.
There is an element of Burn the Bastard, late in the story and mostly involving two side characters, but that's it.
Don't knock it before you've read it.
This is the one I thought the op was looking for but I couldn't remember the title or author due to crs lol
Doing a re-read now so thank you!

I've just found that the second story (involving a company merger) is called Corporate Impasse but is on another site (that begins with 'L' and ends in 'a').
