Looking for stories where the wife dies due to her cheating (NOT husband's fault)

Looking for stories that fit the following requirements:
- Wife is a cheater (wow, this REALLY narrowed it down, didn't it? :)
- She dies "before her time", in a way which is directly (or indirectly-but-clearly) attributable to her cheating. Examples could be killed by her lover, or killed in an accident because she was with her lover and not at home, or suicide due to aftermath of cheating, or some nasty STD she got
- Main character has NOT done anything conscious to cause the death (it may be a result of something he has done without intending harm, but he clearly did NOT try to cause any harm intentionally).
- Ideally, main character gets a happily-ever-after. Definitely, main character isn't left broken, alone forever, "luuuuuving" her forever or other such depressing things.

It was only a small part of a long story, but Artie's "Tales of the Golden Mule" had that happen to the MC's wife. As to where it can still be found, that would have to be a PM if you want to know.

Technically doesn't fit since she's still alive (just contracted aids) at the end of the story. But it's a neat little BTB in the end, regardless - thank you.

I seem to recall a story where the wife and her lover's goes off the road into a rather deep irrigation/drainage ditch, and I think both die.

I was kinda scared (Richardgeralt stories tend to be man-hating cuckfests), but this was, indeed, what you advertised, with at least the main skank offed not by her husband. Still had all the weaknesses of R.G.s usual slop, sadly, which detracted from enjoying it.

Well the author claims that the dude wasn't the love and she didn't cheat, and put in enough effort into the story to make it convincing. Didn't really like the story, but I don't see how that's reverse of my request, or anything even related other than "someone gets shot")
