Life's too stressful right now for me to think straight so I'm looking for light and airy, preferably humorous stories. Things like lordshipmayhem's Manatee Bay stories. In dead tree it might be something light from Pratchett (so *not* a Granny Weatherwax story – more like Going Postal or The Light Fantastic.)

Later volumes (elsewhere) get more serious, but this one is pretty light-weight.
The accompanying Mary stories are lightweight, too.
I'll have to give it another try, though from what I remember it's probably too involved for me to sink into at the moment.
Not Guilty by Harddaysknight Its quick and funny, I can't remember his other stories that involve that hapless cop, otherwise anything by FantasyLover but especially The Goatherd stupid goat :)
I might take a look, though cheating stories are generally a major squick for me, ditto cuckold.

The only issue with his stories is that they tend to be a bit involved. I was going through a batch of them after Quasirandom reminded me of them, but got bogged down in Long Reliever, even though I've read and enjoyed it before. Ashes to Dust, though, was a good, fun read.

The Secret Life of Secretaries was just what I needed! I hadn't thought of the Bastard Operator from Hell in some time, but now it's time to revisit.
Tequila Shuffle does contain references to past cheating, which is why two of the MCs are divorced. Let's just say both got their own back.
