The latest date shown for Jay Cantrel matches up with the date that the last available chapter of his story The Rise of Azkoval was posted.
If you are referring to the dates in the Contributor Pages displayed by the ReaderInfo website, we do not have a "Last Posting" or "Last Login" date.
We regularly use three dates: a "First Started Posting Story" date, a "Last Started Posting Story" date, and a "Last Known Contact" date. One thing that should be noted about the story posting dates is that only the dates of the stories currently listed on the Author's Page are considered when preparing a Contributor's Page. If the author deleted a story prior to or after those displayed by the Author's Page, there is no story information for us to consider.
The "First Started Posting Story" date is the date the author first posted the oldest story listed on the Author's Page. The date is when the author posted a single part story or when the author posted the first part of a multi-chapter story.
The "Last Started Posting Story" date is the date the author first posted the most recent story listed on the Author's Page. The date is when the author posted a single part story or when the author posted the first part of a multi-chapter story.
The "Last Known Contact" date is the last known date the author was in contact with the SOL community. This is one of three dates. The date the author made their last update to a story, the date of the author's last blog date, or the date the author made their last post to the Forum. When the author's status is "In Memoriam" there will be no "Last Known Contact" date.
