800ibgorrila's A Beautiful Wish
We haven't heard from him in over a decade, so incomplete, inactive, and archived. I couldn't find anything on Google, either.

I believe this was one of the two or three stories that was the source of the term 'The Genie Curse'.
Exalphageek's The Djinni And The Lamps must be another one. Although he shut his down deliberately out of fear after an incident with his girlfriend and TSA.
I suspect it's a case of a more general issue, which is that superpower stories are hard to end. With awakening powers, it's easy to have the MC keep gaining powers to overcome ever greater challenges until absurdity. Genie stories that stop at three wishes should be able to avoid this, but they often don't.
A non-Genie story involving large doses of magic also fell into that trap - https://storiesonline.net/s/47228/murder-isle by https://storiesonline.net/a/Mack_the_Knife - and he pretty much abandoned posting altogether after abandoning that story. He tried starting another story 8 years later but gave up on that as well almost immediately.

True enough. These types of tropes work well when the author plots out the main conflict ahead of time, and ends the story when it's resolved.
Your Guardian Angel by ElSol is one of the best genie stories (in my opinion) and complete.
My all time favorite so far is incomplete as well.

Yeah, that is another reason for the Genie Curse.
