I think I know the story, though I can't recall author or title.
MC comes home to find wife with her stud, basically telling him he'll have to live with her cheating. Her dad is rich and runs a sizeable company. But wife and stud drank a bottle of poisoned wine.
Does that sound like the right story?
I honestly don't recall what happened to the stud, but her and husband were talking about her cheating and yes she did have a glass of poisoned wine. Also seems to me that husband cleaned up crime scenes that he may have been involved in. I get the impression that his business associates were less than legal. If you've seen the movie 'John Wick' and remember the guy named Charlie that had a crew that removed the dead bodies from John's house, that's the type of cleaner I mean
