First guess this is '101 Bell Whistle' by JimWar, I think.
I've just read it. It's a good story, although it would have benefited from a decent proofreader to sort out a succession of minor niggles.
It's a shame it slipped under the reviewers' awarenesses :(

Four of his eleven stories have reviews. Only two of your seventeen stories have reviews. It is getting so I only do a few reviews a year, I have to find something that leaps out at me as needing a review. Both of you are relatively popular and well known authors, on SOL. You can approach Management to get a reviewer credential and write some yourself, if you see a story that needs one. Other authors have written reviews.
There are about 140 reviewers listed under the reviews tab on the front page. Three have written over 100 reviews. I suspect the most likely number of reviews written is one. Very few have written more than ten. And more than a few of the reviewers listed are dead. Or have stopped writing reviews. The listing shows the date of the last review. Dates are mostly before 2018. I would be surprised if there were more than a dozen active reviewers. Most of us have something better to do than produce reviews. If authors who have writers block were to review something, then there would be lots more reviews.

That's more than I deserve since I don't write for mainstream interest.

I've noticed a number of recent reviews have been of previously reviewed stories. I'd rather reviewers sought out worthy, unreviewed stories.

Not a good idea - my reviews would be too vicious for the site ethos because I'm used to holding stories to dead-tree novel standards. Even a fantastic author like BarBar wouldn't get straight 10s from me, despite being one of the top writers on this site IMO.

You don't need to give tens to write a good review. Management might take a dim view of reviews with scores below six, but I got away with a five once. A review is your opinion. However when your opinion is negative, the suggestion is to send an email to the author with your suggestions, rather than post a review.
When I write a review for an already reviewed story it is usually an older story that I feel deserves attention and my review is kind of like bumping a thread. The review puts it in the feed, if only briefly, and possibly to the attention of new readers.

Do you feel any pressure to be consistent with the scores of the previous reviewers?
AJ
No. I quit using scores for a variety of reasons. I prefer to just write out what I liked, didn't like and why I think someone should read the story.

(If you have the same opinion of the story as an earlier reviewed did, there has to be some other good reason to write the review. Maybe there is a joke you want to make?
Maybe there is a joke you want to make?
No.
There was a recent review of a story which was very perfunctory and about the same length as the story description. The story had a previous review that was actually very detailed, with the reviewer making a good case. The two reviewers gave the story identical scores.
Is there a case for some sort of list, proposed by readers, for overlooked stories that they feel deserve reviews? I seem to remember you starting a thread that raised the issue of which stories to review.
AJ
Such a thread would either go under story recommendations or the Editor/Reviewer section, not sure which would be best.
I'm not sure a forum thread would work. Ideally the list would be editable by a reviewer to remove a story once they'd reviewed it to stop the number of thread postings becoming unmanageable.

Dance of a Lifetime by Don Lockwood had lots of reviews. My addition was as follows:
"Reviewed: 2015-03-09
This has other reviews. Of course it is a great story, 9.42 score, several Golden Clitorides. If you haven't read it, by all means do so. Its about ice dancing and romance.
I just want to offer two alternate titles.
One is Warren's Piece.
Dance of a Lifetime is a long story, War and Peace is a long story. The hero is Warren and his love interest is Sophia. She is his piece (of ass.)
The other alternate title is Sophia's Choice.
Of course Sophia chose Warren.
There was another book called Sophie's Choice, I am trying for a play on words here. Maybe, very trying.
The story is all tens. No need to agonize, ask anybody. Read and enjoy.
Plot: 10 | Technical Quality: 10 | Appeal to Reviewer: 10"
