The Trailer Park

shiloh1 🚫

You know, I've been a reader on this site for years and I've never read this series. I just got it into my head that I wouldn't like it. What a mistake on my part... And it made me wonder how many other folks had the same reaction to a story here.... Big mistake not reading it.

Well, that story is unlikely to be finished until the author is released, assuming nobody inside catches up to him.

But as to stories I held off reading but really enjoyed... Lazlo Zalezac's Thunder and Lightening. The title (and the apparent misspelling) made me reluctant.

Are you talking about the series of stories The Trailer Park by The Wizard? If you are, how close do the tags match the story? I ask about the tags because there is no "pedo" tag yet from the description it appears there probably is...

@sunseeker

IIRC, 'pedo' was twelve and under, with the partner being at least a few years older. I think the story didn't get into that range, although I didn't read through the entire story.

The SOL tag definition for pedo is:

An adult initiating sexual contact with a pre-pubescent child (boy or girl, 12 or under)

Such stories are not allowed under current site rules.

Hmm, would a pubescent rather than prepubescent character aged 12 qualify for that tag?

Twenty years ago, those stories were a substantially greater percentage of stories here. Mainly because Laz didn't censor for content.
Then idiot politicians started talking about criminalizing fictional writing and equating it to actual child porn, and to protect the site, no new stories like that were accepted. (Older stories were grandfathered in, tho...)

I didn't need the history behind it explained to me. I was on the site when the change happened.

I'm nowhere near the oldest, but I'm no youngster, I turned 51 this month.

I'll be 42 on Feb first. As a Douglas Adams fan, I'm kinda looking forward to it!
(Good God! I've been writing adult stories for over twenty years now!)

That was about the time I went into a panic and self purged quite a few questionable stories I wrote.

I have no idea about the character of the writer, but he does know how to craft a story. No pedo that I've been

Ok, you get today's gold star.

:)

Not exactly "An BΓ©al Bocht", but certainly more appealing to a wider audience.

The stories were good but could have been better with a lot less sex.
