Maybe you should read stories about sex slaves? How they interact with "volunteers" is most of the Swarm stories, most of the time.

I read the first chapter of "a-perfect-10" by James Marcus and it looks to me it isn't really a Swarm Cycle story, in the sense of one vetted by Thinking Horndog and other Swarm Authors. It also has an unfortunate number of proof-reading issues. Like "know" for "no".

I didn't get past the story description. Which is full. Of sentence fragments. Because apparently. The only punctuation mark the author knows. Is the full stop.
A good proof reader and a spell checker along with editing it would help however James story has all the hallmarks of the precious swarm type stories
I agree. It just starts out a bit differently. I think James Marcus stayed well within Swarm Canon. However, I got a suspicion that his muse had a story to tell. But, Marcus didn't know to contact the Swarm authors group.
