I know absolutely nothing about him as a person. The name is likely a pseudonym. I have read all his work and they are fantastic.
I am currently reading book 8 of intemperance. I'm exactly halfway through it, and I'm already mourning that I will soon be finished.
I know book 9 is coming, and I believe I read it is expected to be the final book. That may or may not be correct.
This is the first time I've ever actually DREADED finishing a book, because I love the series and characters so much!
There are many authors i enjoy very deeply on this site, but Al Steiner has become the very peak for me. After this many books in the series, I have yet to come across a character I didnt remember. For a series of this length, that shows a level of plotting and making even small characters matter. This is an incredibly skilled writer!
