I do not think I could handle his gig. All the server stuff, the upgrades for software and hardware is probably a challenge. I'd never have the technical knowledge to be able to do what he does.
Then there is all the stuff he and whoever else is doing admin work to post, and repost changes to stories. I don't have the crayons or the patience to handle the many, many, many ways people probably do things that make an admins life confusing or difficult. (myself probably included in that)
Today, I asked him to add one of my stories to a public universe. The help says I have to manually ask, so I sent a little note.
He wrote back "Already done as soon as it was posted". I was just floored.
There is no question that SOL just makes it super easy for a writer to just write. I've tried other sites and they are encumbered by kludgy interfaces and really - I just think they aren't that author friendly (at least not for someone who writes multi-chapter stories).
Lazeez seems to really spend a lot of time thinking about what would give us the tools to tell stories with quality of life features, and easy wizards to make posting simple and painless.
I just wanted to share my thanks.
