I just posted my first story it was over 500 and says something about me going premier what exactly does that mean does that mean that I get premier from you for free including the library and everything or am I just misread that and if I do get that how long does it usually take to take effect?
On your "author stats" page, you see a total at the bottom, with another number in parentheses. This is the 'weighted average' page views, calculated by multiplying your total pages by your score, so the higher your scores, the sooner you'll receive Premiere access. If you write scat stories, it'll take a bit longer.
The 'weighted average' has to reach 500 (I believe, it's been a while since I had to worry about it myself). It's not as simply as just putting up 500kb of stories. :(
Premiere Access allows you to download as many stories as you want (i.e. no download restrictions), and you can also download complete books. It's a nice perk that many authors here enjoy. You'll get there, but it's not quite as fast as you first think it'll be.

Th limit is 100 stories in approximately 24 hours while free members only can view 16. Unless you are exceptionally interested in very short stories, 100 stories is more than most people can read in a day.

It's possible the system requires a story to have a minimum number of votes before it is included in the calculation. The system had a minimum number before the score to considered "reliable enough" to be displayed to readers, and your story hasn't reached that level yet.

I think it's to stop people from posting just one long weak story to get a free account. If someone writes 2 stories that do passably well then it's likely they'll write 3 or more, while many people will write only one story and give up.

I've known so many 'authors' who write a single somewhat successful book, who never write another, despite their apparent success. It seems, if something comes too easy, it's just not worth the effort.
The writing process seems to thrive on struggle, on fighting the long odds. I must say, I've always had a natural inclination towards art and design. My brother, who struggled as a professional painter in Soho, marveled at my ability to instantly capture likenesses with pen and paper. But it case too easily for me, so I never too it seriously.
For me, writing was what I needed, because I struggle with every aspect of it, while things like cover design and interior graphic design is a breeze.
So, if this policy gets only a few authors to buckle down and crank out just one more story, it may be enough to encourage them to continue. If so, that's enough for me. However, if that policy doesn't have that effect, then it just seems bazare.

if you think you've been upgraded but don't see it you should log out of SoL clear your cookies, then log back in. So much of what you can and can't do on SoL relies on the cookies that if there's a status change and you've an old cookie you don't get the benefit of the status changes due to the cookie not have the right code.

Someone must have filed a complaint against it with Lazeez. There is other fan fiction on the site, so I'm presuming that there is something more to it than just that, though he might have to remove any fan fiction if the copyright owner of the original work notices and files a complaint about it.
I don't know if Lazeez would be willing to make the details of the complaint public or provide more detail on why he decided it was plagiarism.

The original author of the actual text came forward and proved his ownership beyond a doubt.
According to Lazeez, Sorrowfulvigin filed a protest with Lazeez, proved he was Sorrowfulvigin, and Lazeez removed the story from the site.
He would not have done that if you where Sorrowfulvigin.

Many of us have fallen victim to some ambitionless young jerk hoping to profit from our works by trying to sell it as theirs (including publishing it with the original covers), all the while claiming that THEY're the original author.
If it's yours, then you should have no problem proving that it's yours. But all your talk of making $10,000/day shouts that you're simply looking to make a quick buck without putting in much effort. Now I'm sorry I even mentioned the patreon account to you. I should probably send them a separate warning about what you're trying to pull.

And he revised his estimate downward from "thousands per month" to "double-digit" earnings, which isn't even in the same ballpark.
What the fuck.
First of all, I am not the originator of this thread or the Patreon thread
Second: I didn't even post in this thread up until now.
Third: I did not revise anything down, my posts in the Patreon thread are not edited.
Fourth: The statement "You can make thousands on Patreon" is factually correct.
Fifth: The double-digit sales refer to traditional e-book sales as a counterpoint to expose the ridiculousness of the expectations of normal amateur authors. If your expectations, (and later certainty), are 50$ a month through book sales, then testing Patreon can only be a step up.
Sixth: where did you even get the 10k a day statement?
