It was in the thread about the font size being made smaller with a long URL. Lazeez wanted the link to the story. I followed it and at the end of the story he had some comments in a yellow box. I thought it was the Author Notes, but they come after the voting area. He must have surrounded the comments with "blockquote."

The Admins have a lot more flexibility in posting than authors do.

That's handy (I'll remember it the next time I want to post a warning), but that's not what Switch Blayde was describing (the yellow box was at the end of the last chapter but before the user comments.

Can you put the notice tag anywhere in a story or just in the beginning like your example? The story I looked at had it at the end of the story, before the voting.

yes it is, and it usually has a very different font and a vertical line beside it.

You're confusing the {end-note} with the Author's Note. So did I.

The end-note is actually part of the story. The name is misleading because it doesn't have to be at the end.

I'm writing a story for SOL where I may be putting a warning in the beginning that the N-word is being used and some other warning stuff. Now that I know it exists, I'll use {notice} because it makes sense to reduce the size of the font. But if I didn't want a different font size, I'd use {end-note} even though it's in the beginning.

I'm guessing but I suspect SOL's converter requires the HTML stuff to read and properly convert an HTML file.

Ah, I bet that's what it is. I forgot it was an .html file.
