Are you referring to Boolean operators like AND or NOT? Rather than explaining here, you should just Google something like "Boolean operators example" and you'll get a good explanation
I used to use Boolean search conditions all the time, but then Google went and changed how they process search queries, and I've never gotten them to work again. And now with AI, you get more false-positive search results then you do positive results by a tenfold factor, since AI keys off ANY single word, not the whole phrase, even if it's in quotes.
Yep, I just checked, and I've never gotten Google to respond to those Boolean codes for a proverbial Coon's age. Now, a search engine like Duck, Duck Go is more likely to apply those codes, but again, Google keys of any word or phrase, no matter how it's written.
The biggest key to it is that "NOT" is specified with a "-" minus sign, not the word "Not".
