"Anjali" will be complete (posting-wise) in three days. I'm posting three chapters a day now, with 26 total in the story.
One curious thing I've noticed - "Anjali" is not getting nearly as much attention (either with downloads or votes) as the previous story, "The Salt Road". I have a theory as to why that might be, and I think it may be due to the "historical" tag. Historical fiction might not be everyone's cup of tea. Another story I've posted, "Letters Across the Wall", has the "historical" tag, and has by far the lowest download and vote totals of all the stories I've posted. Which is a shame, because I really believe "Letters Across the Wall" is a great story.
Moving forward - next up in the queue is a story that's different from anything I've posted so far. It's a post-apocalyptic story, the second one of those I've posted. (The other one is "Echoes of the Empty Earth".) This new story is far different from "Echoes", however. It's darker than anything I've posted up till now, and it's likely to get the "Minimal Sex" tag - everything I've posted so far has been labelled "No Sex".
