While every chapter is reviewed at least half a dozen times before publishing, errors somehow escape detection. Around Chapter 38 I altered how I proof chapters. My new technique is to have the story read to me as I monitor the text I am hearing. Previously I would read through a chapter at least half a dozen times before publishing. Based on comments I've received, errors were still present.
