A couple hours ago when I sat down to work on my project that it would get quite so dark! I'm afraid the last two thousand odd words would tip my story firmly into the category of a horror novel. The rest of it isn't in the grand tradition of Steven King, but these past couple chapters grabbed me by the guts and said let's have a horror show!
