Do others have thoughts on when you decide to end a story line and when to continue? At the moment I have two related stories "Family Trip to Mexico" followed up with "Best Friend's Daughter." I wrote each of these stories as stand alone finished stories so it isn't like anyone is waiting for additional chapters but there is enough in the second story where I could add additional stories, at least one more.
I don't have anything planned out for another story, but I have thought about it and there are a few things that come to mind on where I could go. However, I also think I could just leave it where it is.
What I may do is not force anything just to write another story, but if something I think about really stands out I could write it and see what I think after I have it written down.
I think writing this has helped me decide how I am going to proceed, but if others have any thoughts on what they do when they are in a similar situation I would be interested in hearing their thoughts.
