Hi Everyone.
So, a few days ago I posted a new story called Hello Tommy. The story arose from me reading a few of those stories where a bully embarrasses and humiliates a weaker person over and over again. The stories kept on with more and more scenes where the bully returns and humiliates the weaker person again and again without the overall picture ever changing. I'm not criticising the writers for this. I realise those writers were writing to their kink and that is totally appropriate. But my brain works differently and I wondered what happened next. What happened when the situation changed? And why was the bully the way they were? So I wrote Hello Tommy.
I was pretty pleased with it, even though the content is fairly dark. I've been amazed to see it has so far scored the lowest of any of my stories. Oh, well. The way people choose a score for stories continues to be very confusing to me.
Apart from the score, about the only feedback I've had was one person saying it was good but too long, one person saying it was too short because I finished it before it provided all the answers, and one person saying the story was good but the ending was weak.
Reacting to the feedback, I've changed the ending very slightly. On the less is more principle, I reduced the length of the story by a couple of paragraphs and finished it a fraction earlier. For the person who wanted to know what happens next, isn't that the sign of a good story?
Happy reading.
