I am on the lookout for a few Beta readers for my new series, Sapphire Cove.
There are a couple things I am looking for in a Beta reader...
1. Timely turnaround.
I don't want to wait weeks for someone to get back to me with feedback. Not that those who take longer or are busy in their day to day lives don't have good input, I just want to get this out to readers as soon as I can.
2. I need open dialog with genuine opinions.
I've gotten too many in the past where the replies are short and without any substance. I need opinions on what worked in the story, what didn't, what didn't make sense, and finally, any issues with the plot in the book. (consistency etc.)
3. I would like varying opinions from both the male readers and female ones, if it's possible.
If you're up to reading an early release of my story, please let me know. For those who do Beta for me, the best way to talk to me without having to wait for email chains is via Discord, but it isn't required, just preferred.
