For decades, we found ourselves amused and entertained by the wit and humor of Scott Adams, the creator of the comic Dilbert. I know that I'm not alone, thinking about the many times I read (and laughed at) one of his observations on corporate office life. Navigating the obstacles found, trying to complete the job and not have it derailed by clueless management or someone else who "has a better idea" that has about as much chance as a bowling ball sprouting wings and flying.
As many of you know, Scott passed away due to cancer. He will be missed. At one of the offices I worked at, we had a "Dilbert Wall" where we could post a printed clipping that was especially amusing and subtly poked fun not only at corporate culture, but some of the things that the actual company said and did.
"Logic be damned! We've always done it this way!"
Godspeed, Sir. We will miss you.
