Chapter 69 of Victory Tour has been submitted for posting. It may even be up by the time I finish this.
Sorry for the long delay, but life got in the way again. I had another fall in my bathroom. Fortunately, this one did not result in hospitalization like the last one. It still took me some time to get back to normal, though.
I got off my sleep cycle in a big way. I was falling asleep anywhere from late morning to midafternoon and waking up sometime between midnight and sunrise, when nothing in my little town is open. It took nearly three weeks to get back to something resembling a normal schedule. The trick now is to stay on it. I might ought to avoid late-night movie marathons. I didn't realize I own so many DVDs.
Anyway, I have made some progress on the story as well as forming the basis for another sequel. Imagine Gary getting crossways with the federal government and deciding to fight back. The guy has had issues with authority before.
In this chapter, he has to deal with a change to his Saturday night date plans. Sherry Parker is upset at missing her chance again. The substitute that's arranged for him turns into something of an adventure. But I'll let y'all see what happens for yourselves. Don't want to spoil the fun.
