Hi all!
First of all: Thank you for all your feedback on email about the previous blog. It was really good to see all the feedback and how you guys and girls have received it, and your thoughts, fears, and perception of the situations. Also thank you to those of you that explained some of the issues.
There was one email that outright said that “farm murders in South Africa” was taking on quite a turn. Well, the truth be told. “Farm Murders” are being exploited by certain right-wing groups that drive their own agendas. Yes, there are farm murders in South Africa. That is a fact.
BUT it does not state the racial statistics. Black farmers are murdered also! And quite a few. Only the Media stay quiet about it. To me, farm murders are in the line of any crime whether on a farm or in a residential area. In towns and villages and cities people of all races are being murdered in the course of a robbery, or during home invasions. That statistic is never made public or omitted by the media because the media is governed by “politically correct” statements. But how much do the media contribute to the truth?
And this is going on the world over. That is the sad part of it. But the media just focus on sensation and propaganda that will boost circulation, get that 5 million hits, and profits.
There was a PC game out that had the words in it: “There was a war on that not even rated a side-bar entry. Everyone just clucked their tongues and contemplated their next tax-deductible donation...”
Think about that. That tax deductible donation would eventually fuel that war they read about, dismissed it, and threw the paper aside...
Some of the most tragic words I ever heard were at the start of one of Neil Diamond’s songs:
“Morningside. The old man died. And no-one cried. They simply turned away, when he died...”
Such is the world we live in. Don’t believe everything you hear, read, or see on TV. Remember the Media, fueled by “Political Correctness”, just want to sell their stories, cluck their tongues, laugh at you – and contemplate that next shiny BMW or Lamborghini winking on the horizon.
There’s even a 15-year-old girl (now 20 or 22) that saw a way to skip school and became a millionaire by riding the “Climate Change” wave. LOL! Not that climate change is not a fact. It is a fact. But she saw an opportunity – and exploited it! While I respect her passion, I sometimes wonder how much media attention shapes public movements.
South Africa is a great country to live in. Maybe a bit expensive for us the locals, but a great holiday destination for anyone with Dollars, Euro, or Pound Sterling.
But enough of that. Close the subject. Let us carry on... I just wanted to put the record straight.
Anyway, here’s Chapter 13 of Rosa Rio! I hope that I could bring you some sort of relaxation with this story, and for a few minutes – make the world go away... Please enjoy!
Wishing you all the best. God bless — until next week!
Bye 4 now!
