Hi all!
There’s not much happening around here. I am enjoying some of the stories on SOL, and on TV – I much enjoy the news. There’s a news item that made me chuckle. Something about a whole government shutting down because somebody thought is great to include illegal aliens in the budget for free medical care and the opposing party does not see it that way. Just a little advice from someone that is seeing the exact same thing unfolding in South Africa: Don’t allow illegal aliens to eat up you TAX money! You will end up not only bankrupt but paying for something YOU don’t get the benefit of. Focus on priorities that take the country forward and not backwards. Just my 5-cent worth.
And something else. One country has withdrawn from the G20 summit being held in South Africa. Why? Because they believe in fairy tales. Something about Afrikaners being killed in their thousands and those Afrikaners land and property being taken. I have not seen or witnessed such a thing. To me that is all just political illusions from very crafty politicians and their agendas to make more money for themselves.
Hmm... Let us take that specific country that is withdrawing from the summit and look at one of their prominent citizens and his wise words. (Rest his soul.) “It is one thing to sit and formulate ideas on hearsay, but it’s quite different to go out and SEE for yourself. And until the critics of your fine country adopt this policy – they will continue to be guided by ignorance.” (Spoken in a warm Texas accent while visiting South Africa – not once, but twice!)
It’s so funny that a President of one of the West’s leading countries, and himself being a billionaire, don’t have the money for an airline ticket to come and see for himself. What is he scared of? That the beef is better here than that of his own country?
I think that most of you can read between the lines and know who that president is. A good man – but living in an ivory tower shut out from the real world.
Sorry for the rant, but I can’t sit by and watch presidents of countries being misled by fake agendas.
