Several people have asked about 'Garlic Knots' mentioned in chapter 4 of GBF. They are a simple and delicious side for any meal. To make them, you can purchase a pre-made pizza crust from the grocery store (example is the Pillsbury brand) and open it out on the counter over parchment paper. Brush the dough with melted butter and then sprinkle (to taste) garlic powder on as well. Fold the dough over on itself so the butter and garlic powder is inside. Then with a pizza cutter, carve off strips of dough and roll between your (washed) hands to make long, skinny, strips of dough. Then twist the dough into a simple knot. No need to be fancy about it, unless you want it that way. Place on a cookie sheet. You can add more butter and garlic powder on top if you wish. Bake as directed in the oven. Enjoy!
