On this February 5, a reader of my efforts told me one of my early works published here "was the random story this evening." I looked at the activity panel an author can see, of the number of times a work has been downloaded. Clearly the numbers reading that 'random story' had jumped. Since them it appears that the interest in all of my works published here has been invigorated. And, yes, it is flattering.
It is also a fair bit frustrating. You see, it has been over ten years since I stopped posting new work here. A Canadian law required the very decent, honest, and capable webmaster to tell me to either write something that fit the new guidelines or just to stop posting.
I kept on writing, initially posting my newer works on the old ASSTR site while it still functioned and then, finally, on my own, eponymously titled, website.
I am still writing and posting there. Even the stories, which you can read here are there. Most of those have been, updated, corrected and enhanced. The entire body of my work is there. Only a little from the early days are what exists here. And so, you see, possibly, the frustration. My works as you read them here as not as how I wish them to be read.
