I've got about two thirds of the next chapter written and hopefully will get it finished this weekend. Because I have extra time due to peoples inattention to detail.
Here comes the rant.
I purchased a new grill. My plan was to put it together today. Well, that's not going to happen. Seems who ever packaged the grill forgot to include a necessary part. This essentially shut down putting the grill together. As I write this I'm on hold waiting to talk to somebody about getting this part sent to me. I'm guessing this call is going to aggravate me even more than I already am.
The second part of this rant is going to be about a more societal issue. I made a small deviation from how I normally go about buying things like this. I didn't check where the hell the thing was made. Turns out surprise, surprise it was made in China like most everything today. The quality of how this was put together in the nicest words I can use is shitty.
I can remember when things were built to last. I have a washer and dryer that's been in the family since the late 80's. They are probably going on their last leg at this point. But hell, I'll take a major appliance lasting almost 40 years. Shit just isn't built like that anymore. Things aren't built to be fixed anymore, if it breaks down just replace it.
I apologize for y'all having to listen to me bitch, but I just needed to get that off my chest. I hope y'all have a great weekend.
