Hi all!
It seems like the year is running at warp speed to a close. I realised today that it is time to post Cargo Drop chapter 13, and I am running out of completed chapters. Lucky chapter 16 is going off to the editors shortly so, I am still 3 chapters ahead! LOL!
Between writing Cargo Drop, running a household, animals to the vet and back, research for a new story… (Oops! Cat out of the bag… LOL), and yard work, I seem to have run out of hours in the day. Please, someone, let me know of a way to get 30 or 25 hours out of a 24-hour day, but, DON’T tell me not to sleep… LOL.
One thing that did get me thinking was how I came to appreciate the good old small Cessna aircraft again. After years of state-of-the-art aircraft, with their sophisticated autopilots, how nice was it to fly a basic 206 Stationair with steam gauges again. Oh yeah, one needs to work a bit in the office up front, but when trimmed out nice and the throttle, prop condition, and mixture settings tweaked right, she just flies herself. Man! But more of that later when the new story hits the screens at SOL.
Herewith chapter 13 of Cargo Drop. Enjoy!
Until next time.
Bye 4 now!
