Snow used to be an annual feature of winter, usually during January and February. Heavy falls, not so frequent. The last few years, a couple of decades, even, snow has been absent most years. It was a surprise this morning, then, to walk out of the door and find flakes drifting down. A surprise, but actually a pleasant one - I like snow, though in my seventies with my balance somewhat diminished, it's more of a challenge than an opportunity for fun. I don't think I'll be getting Oscar out of the garage just to ride in the snow!
I do, however, determinedly go out for my daily three miles or so walk, broken by the Park Cafe and my first cup of coffee. My writing is becoming an uphill activity, sadly. Current projects are proceeding, but very slowly. Probably my next post will be a Fold Space one, to pick up a loose end several readers have complained of. I have nearly two chapters finished of that and am moving along with it.
