I challenged myself to write a two chapter short story.
I don't generally enjoy those because just when I fall in love with the characters the story is over - sort of like unfulfilling sex. Just when it gets going somebody squirts and it ends.
I fudged a little though.
I used existing characters from an epic story called "You bet your ass". I would say this event happens somewhere after a few chapters in the main story as something left out by the main character before the "Big bet" toward the end.
This is a two chapter story - I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't turn it into an epic. That is how "Keeping the entire family in line" happened. I was working on a vignette to insert into a collection of stories with a friend about a submissive couple that wanted to meet a new dom for the first time and voila - 50+ chapters later I was finished.
I have been saving pictures in a folder that seem to tell a story all by themselves. I picked five pictures and decided to pick TWO of them and write the story around those photos. It was incredibly helpful as a creative excercise.
If this story wets your appetite for "You Bet Your Ass" I highly recommend it - it will provide some context for why the family is so unusual and used to the mom and sister making bets when Mark the babysitter arrives.
Mark has been babysitting his brothers for years and just recently started babysitting on the side for money - so he is in for a treat.
I may go back to some of my other stories that people seem to enjoy like HOA and Do you have a big dick why not and see if I can write a short story like this to add to it.
