It's been a while, but I've managed to wrap up Mud & Magic 15 and sent it to my faithful editor.
This chapter will be the last in the Faedal arc, wrapping up Rhys' journey from farm boy to full-grown sorcerer. With this part of the story done, I can now work on some of my much-neglected other projects, such as the oft-requested sequels to "The Rembrandt Legacy", "Express Delivery" or something else entirely. See my Patreon for more details.
And to answer some logical and warranted questions right in advance:
I have deliberately left some threads unsolved in Mud and Magic. There will be more stories featuring Rhys and company, including a large second arc dealing with Carver's bid for power and how Rhys intends to stop him. To get there, I just need to fill a few years of "in-universe" time so all players will be present on the board. That will be done with a handful of smaller, novella-length pieces I can pepper in between my other projects. Doing things this way prevents burnout and allows me to spread my creative juices over a wider area. Wait... that sounded kinda icky right now. Anyway, you get my drift. :)
