New chapters have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
This week's final chapters of Owen's World opens with those on the Mission to Phnom Penh moving to a hotel for the night. In the morning they leave for Sinhanoukville.
Once out of sight in the mountains, the Eagles are released to recon the road ahead. A problem is detected, and Tiger Team takes action to remove it.
Arriving late in Sihanoukville, those there are shocked to see them alive. Following their operations meeting at the new hotel, the Eagles return with news of a seaplane. In the morning, Tiger Team goes to investigate the seaplane.
The following morning, they leave for the southern continent. There is a slight problem reaching the shore, but it is easily corrected. On landing, they meet a representative of the major species there. Kaera decides to remain with those there along with the Jaguars. The representatives of the Nang transfer everyone to the Wat in the north to recover the Tiger cubs. Eventually, everyone is returned to their compound near Bangkok.
This is followed by the surprise ending to the story. I will not reveal what it is. You must read the final chapters to find out.
This has been a very interesting story to write, as there are a number of things that were not in the original outline. Also, I thought that chapter 24 would be the final chapter. The outline appeared to be simple enough, but when writing that chapter, it turned out to be much longer that it looked. I stopped chapter 24 at 12 typed pages. Also chapter 25. Chapter 26 has 21 typed pages, as I dislike an uneven number of chapters.
Enjoy these final chapters. I am currently working on several other stories. They will appear when they are ready.
Keep Well,
