Chapter 43 of Best Summer Ever has been posted. Gary finally gets to have his cuddle and talk with Arlene, and then some. A lesser man might not have survived such an undertaking. There's also some stuff with Morgan and the influential Mr. Patterson passes through again.
I'm way behind today because the doctor's appointment I was supposed to have earlier in the week got canceled at the last minute, then rescheduled for this morning. Only they didn't tell me until yesterday afternoon. Bottom line: I'm not dead.
Anyway, downloads are moving up again, past 198K by the time I finally got done being poked and prodded. The score has remained steady and the story keeps hanging around the fringes of the Recent Top Scores list. Another five followers have been added.
Chapter 63 is in the can. Chapter 64 is down to polishing and fixing typos. Chapter 65 is writing itself in my head right now, it's just a matter of how fast I can work the keyboard.
