With Chapter Six I am turning on voting.
I wanted to create a story that was a little different than my norm - about a trashy family that lives in trailer park (okay, thats my norm) that involves (BDSM/Humiliation/incest) okay thats my norm.
Still - I think this set up and the pacing is very different than usual for me.
The story is about a stuck up prude and her son coming to live with her trashy sister who works as an escort. In this day and age, there are lots of women who live off Twitter and the Internet as sex workers. Betty is simply one of them. Her kids know, and they are fine with it, but they don't really get involved. They know guys show up and leave happy but that's about it.
I was hoping to paint a very realistic and plausible picture of the alternative lifestyle some families really do lead. I know a woman quite like Betty and she makes her living off webcam - and thats something her family just has to deal with/accept. It pays the bills very well.
I am curious now that chapter six is posted (scheduled to be posted anyway) that the story is turning a corner where you see things going and what you'd like to see yet.
I do have some other stories in the fire I need to continue as well - its just tough right now and will be slow during the summer months.
