The US is back in the rocket launch business thanks to a long missing collaboration between the private sector and the government.
I am made more and more angry each day by the creep our country has taken towards the State being Mother and Father. The virus has shown that the rights the govt gives (licenses, permits, etc.) it can take away. The rights given to us by our creator, per the Constitution, are being fought for by civil disobedience.
I find it interesting that the areas more controlled by local govt are the ones having the most problems. I also find it interesting that the number of deaths would be so much lower if the govt in NY had not required the sick and elderly to be forced back into elder care facilities. Almost 1/2 of the deaths from the virus are from seniors in "health care" facilities. As a senior citizen in great health with a strong immune system, I look at the threat from this virus the same way I did the H1N1 virus and the Bird flu virus, both of which killed many ten's of thousands of people, without a shutting down of the country.
To see a small branch of the govt working with private companies with success means a lot. Not so much that it will rein in the spending by govt and the requisite stealing of my money, and my children's and grandchildren's and after this my great-grandchildren's, to pay for it.
Sorry! My muse got on her soap box. But she is an All American Muse so I would expect nothing less.
