This week's chapters open with some embarrassment over sex the previous night. Despite this, the Team is ready to leave for the meeting with the Leaders of the original colonists the next morning. There are a number of surprises both before they depart and at the meeting location.
Following a demonstration of a defensive spell, everything changes with the biggest surprise of all. Those in orbit above the planet are extremely upset about not being able to observe what is happening there any longer.
Sometimes, the simplest things have a much greater effect on a mission than anyone expected.
It's time for nominations to the Clitorides Awards. If you have a favorite story or stories that were written in 2019, you can nominate it or them in one of the categories of the awards. If the story has already been nominated, you can add your vote for it.
