Thought I'd address this matter, as I have recieved a fair number of messages, asking for Wings of Fire to be picked up again. Allow me to clarify things for those who don't know; I will pick up this story, just not at this time.
As it stands, I am working on three stories simultaneously, writing a double chapter for both Gaia's Champion and Project Prometheus each month. On top of which, I am also writing my post apocalyptic story, Tales of the Wastelander, the first chapter of which, will be made available for public reading later this year.
Every chapter I write is around 12500-15000 words per chapter. Given that I'm writing no less than 5 chapters a month, that's an average of 62500-75000 words a month. Tacking Wings of Fire onto that roster, which would also be a double chapter of work, would increase the word count to between 87500-105000 words per month.
I'm not saying that I won't do it, but with the time constraints that I currently have, being a working writer with a regular day job, I lack enough time to do the stories proper justice. The one thing I will never do, is crank out a piece of literary trash, that is not up to my standard of writing.
So, I will get to Wings of Fire, just not right now. Once I have achieved a certain level of support from my biggest fans, then I will pick it up, as hitting that support level from my patrons will allow me to book some time off work to focus solely on writing. Until then, Wings of Fire will stay in stasis. Thank you for listening and cheers!
