I thought at this time, it would be a good time to remember the stories on here by authors that are no longer around.
Be they like Rachael Ross, Xalir and Wes Boyd and they have passed on. Or authors like MysterWriter and Raven Soul that can't continue. Or authors that left us, wondering about what happened (Don Lockwood) would come to mind here.
There are some great stories by some great authors, ones we shouldn't forget and should strive to ensure that new readers here get to see and pass on to others.
Take the time to read one of these stories. To post about it. Pass on what you love about them or the influence they've had on your own storytelling.
I just re-read Third Time's A Charm from Xalir. It's a tearjerker with a good ending. Left me wishing he had been around long enough to finish My Journey. Selfish, I know.
What will you read? Rachael Ross' Tag! stories? (I'm surprised that we've only had two Tag! stories by other authors)
Maybe check out the unfinished works. Raven Soul's Tycoon will frustrate because you'll feel it's so close to ending and you'll really want to know how it ends for his characters. Don Lockwood's Rewind might be his greatest work, if only it had been completed.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving.
