The opening chapters of the new story have been sent to the Moderators for posting.
The opening chapter of Parthas picks up where Partners finished. In the first two chapters, the Team closes out their responsibilities on Addison III. There are some problems moving the Partners, but the all soon arrive on the Aegean for the trip to Ainalha III. There are some problems on the ship, but also a bright spot, when Susie delivers her kittens.
The opening chapters reveal the many things that need to be accomplished when leaving one duty station and moving to another. The next two chapters will reveal the necessity of coordination in making moves in the military. There are many things that need to be taken care of, that are not necessary for civilians, and are seldom mentioned in stories.
I am trying out a new approach in my notes for this story. I received several emails that were critical of the previous preview of the chapters. I will now be making comments on the content of the chapters where necessary. Let me know how you like this new presentation.
