That's politer than I really want to use. I fired up my laptop this morning, but Vivaldi wouldn't open, and when I restarted the computer, it crashed. You know how you're supposed to back up everything? Well, I do. Except last night. I've lost an almost complete chapter of the Lady Betty sequel. Unless the computer shop can retrieve my files.
Anyway, I have others, but the one I'm currently using is Windows 10. Have I expressed my dislike of Windows 10? Not to mention how SLOW the device is.
I don't really want to try to re-write chapter 4 of 'Bill, Candy and Etty', but I may have to. In the meantime, I'll pick up on one of the other stories which have been simmering and which I have the latest versions of on my backup disk.
Incidentally, thanks to all the readers who have made nice comments on my stories. Sometimes it would be nice to respond individually with a 'thanks' rather than a public entry.
Oh, and if you're a regular reader of mine and you haven't already encountered the author, can I recommend Old Sarge?
