How about a story where HBO fucked us all out of a month of subscription fees for terrible episodes?
I am kidding. Here is my challenge to fellow authors and anyone who enjoys stories and wants to finally give it a shot.
You literally cannot do much worse than the writers at HBO if you just face roll your keyboard and post random letters. A story that goes nowhere about a night king that served no real purpose, prophecies, bringing people back from the dead etc that never get realized.
GUIDELINES:
Write a short story set in Game of Thrones that contains some sex.
Start the title with GAME OF THRONES:
Use existing characters in the story.
That's it.
The contest ends on 6/21/2019 at Midnight CST and I'll judge the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Here are some random ideas I'll put out there but you are by no means limited to these. If you want to take one and run with it for the short story challenge be my guest or riff off one of these.
1. Sansa has returned to the North to establish herself as Queen of the North. She is told that the last female warden of the north had to undergo purification before the seven and the public. Much like the one Queen Cersei had to walk through King's Landing (SHAME) except with Northern Twists...and in the snow. It will demonstrate her humility before the Northern people.
2. Lord Bronn of High Garden and Master of Coin seeks to rebuild the brothels of King's Landing. He decides to cater to unique tastes of various cultures around the world and create a special brothel where noble ladies of the Seven Kingdom spend a few weeks as the feature. He has asked Sir Podrick to test each lady before their guest appearance.
3. Unhappy with the Queen Daenarys's death, Asha Yara Greyjoy returns to the Iron Islands to establish herself as Queen and begin a life of pirating and debauchery. She starts to establish new laws that place women in positions of power, femdom and humiliation begins and she points out how much of a better man Theon became when he lost his balls after spending some time as reek, she was able to rebuild him. She suggests it for any rebellious nobles who oppose her reforms.
4. Jon Snow heads north into the land of the wildlings, where they establish their deviant sexual practices to repopulate. As he is the least inbred and has Targaryan blood he is highly sought after and he ends up with a harem of Ygritte's sisters, mother, and cousins as well as a half-giantess that suckles him on her titty.
5. Samwell Tarley and Gilly introduce the concept of swinging to King's Landing. "Yeah, so like instead of just fucking your wife, why don't we you know like fuck everybody too?"
He goes around having all these ideas about indoor plumbing, fast food and gunpowder and people laugh at them.
