No, I haven't gone blog happy. I will return to my once in a blue moon updates after this announcement.
In keeping with my resolution to try new things, I'm going to do something I've rarely done in the past.
Pixel the Cat has spent his long, boring winter going through and working his magic on a bunch of my older stories.
Now, most of you know that I'm from the "out of sight, out of mind" school. I almost never go back and repost unless there is a huge, glaring error I need to fix (and sometimes not even then).
But I'm going to post Pixel's versions this time. Over the coming months, probably starting in late spring, I'm going update a few of the stories I posted almost a decade ago because, as was noted to me, new people come to the site every day and are finding the older works for the first time.
And since Pixel has done the work, I'll do my part.
On another topic ...
I got a bunch of messages about odd characters popping up in place of punctuation. Lazeez, our ever-diligent web master, fixed the problem before I even noticed it.
I had the issue a few years back and fixed it by using a different editing program for my final run through.
Well ... I no longer have that program on any of my machines. It was too costly to keep updating so I have gone open source for everyone. I've sent a message to Lazeez asking how I should proceed and I will follow his instructions.
You might have to make it through the next couple of chapters because he's busy and I might not hear back before I post them.
But, after chapters 4 & 5, I will try something new -- again.
