It's taken me a couple of months longer than I intended, but The Summer I Grew Up is now uploaded and will be released over the next couple of weeks. I appreciate the beta feedback and edits I got from my friends here. You helped make the story better, but any mistakes that remain are all mine.
One of the hardest parts of writing (for me) is translating the story that's in my head into the right words to carry it into your heads as I intend. Failures in the first draft led some readers to make incorrect assumptions about the age characters and other situations in the story that seemed obvious to me. Luckily, their feedback helped tune the storytelling to more accurately match what I intended.
The story is told in first-person from Stephanie's perspective, and weighs in at over 78K words across 28 chapters. I'm looking forward to your feedback and hope you enjoy the ride!
And speaking of wild rides, some of you crazy people nominated my short story Friends and Benefits for a Clitoride! I am honored just to be included in the finals for the Medium Erotic Story of the Year. Thank you all for your vote of confidence.
As a result, I've starting a sequel called Creeps and Consequences. The story follows Lauren as she starts the summer school term while Josh struggles with her independence. She is convinced she can handle college life and bristles at his protective nature. Things get tense when Lauren begins to notice a creepy guy everywhere where she goes... Hopefully I'll be posting it soon!
