I'll admit that I've never fired a M82 50-cal sniper rifle in my life. I'd also put money on it that most people haven't. I'll admit that firing said rifle from the back of a horse is probably not a bright thing to try and do, no matter how big of a guy you are and how proficient with the weapon you might be. Regrettably I wrote that Jake did it and most people have already read that passage and know that Jake did it. Having said it I won't change it; however I have amended that passage to indicate that the rifle did give Jake a good kick in the shoulder and that Jakes's horse didn't appreciate the fact that Jake fired the rifle with the barrel aimed so close to its head. Jake doesn't end up on his ass, but he does have to fight to keep his seat. Hopefully my minor edit satisfies any who feel that reality got stretched a little thin at that point in the story. Thanks for reading.
