I've posted the final chapters of Nicholas's story. I would like to thank you all for the kind words. I'd also like to thank those readers who bought a copy of his story on Bookapy. I have a couple of more "Story" books that I will post later right now I writing on my third Keeper book trying to get the damn thing out of my laptop oand onto the site. It's on the sixth and hopefully the last rewrite.
Thanks again for your support,
Peter Young
If I didn't screw up, Nicholas's Story will available on Bookapy and the Zbookstore today. This book marks the end of my foray into coming of age fiction. It's long past time for me to get off my butt and get "Keeper's Juctice" finished. Thanks to all who given me the wonderful feedback and supported me by buying my books.

Hi all, Thanks to everyone for the kind words about my stories. As I mentioned, I’ve had three stories lurking in my writer’s notebook for some time. I worked on them on and off while I was working (read struggling) with my third book-Keeper’s Justice.
The final one of the lurkers is "Nicholas’s Story". The idea came to me when I recalled a weekly AA meeting in my local detox/treatment center. There I met a woman, a nice middle aged woman who went from being a respected accountant to a homeless junkie in the space of four years, thanks to her doctor and the “miracle drug” Oxycontin. I have no idea if she was able to get sober, I pray she did. I grew up with several kids just like Nicholas some probably still in jail and some I hope made it out of that vicious downward spiral. Nicholas’s Story came out of a those memories and married a hint of the plot of Edgar Rice Burroughs book “The Mucker”. I do love a story of pain and transformation. I hope you enjoy it. The complete novel should show up on Bookapy and ZBookStore next week.

Hi all, Thanks to everyone for the kind words about my stories. I managed to convince TenDerLoin to help me with Matthew's Story and he's made it a lot better. Some of you who purchased the book on Bookapy (thank you very much) mentioned ever so nicely that the ending sucked. My new editor friend agreed. So I re-wrote it. Laz tells me that the revised copy will automatically upload to your bookshelf. Here's hoping you like the new ending.
Hello All. Thought I’d drop a note and talk a bit about my stories. I’m a recovering drunk, the folks at AA like to call it alcoholism, but I always thought it too fancy a descriptor for me back in those days. Anyway,a friend managed to convince me that the reason my life was so dark was that I was living in a hole and maybe it would be a good idea to stop digging it deeper. Lucky for me he showed up on the day I was feeling that momement of ultimate despair that they call a bottom--That day and the next I was willing to do anything to get sober and stay sober--even listen and follow the steps
I love stories about people coming back from hell. What fascinates me, are stories about the poor bastard who through no fault of his own has been blindsided by fate. Been kicked into one of those holes of despair where there is no hope and everything is dark. I love to see him climb out with pure guts and determination. Most all of my stories center around that theme.
By the way, I hope to get Matthew’s Story published on Bookapy this weekend assuming I don’t screw up the formatting. Thanks again for all the kind words,
Pete
