Plagiarism

While I am not looking for an answer to this question, since I have my own opinion, I have to ask... If an AI produces the written work, is it not illegal for an author to claim that work as their own? They are the editor, not the author, so that is plagiarism, that is THEFT of intellectual work. They are falsely claiming that work as their own, so by extension, if they publish it, they could be entangling the website, that has accepted money, for the liar claiming to be an author, in a legal situation. If you write something, good or bad, you wrote it, so have the right to put your name on it, if you give a vague idea to a website, you did NOT write what came off that site, so you are falsely claiming the work of an AI or LLM, as your personal work. I wonder how long until a class action lawsuit happens, since Americans sue for anything and everything, so someone will do it, pointing the finger at every author posting work by an AI, yet claiming it as their own. If money is involved, that will be worse, since then their can be financial damages, all coming back to both the person claiming to be the author, as well as the website hosting the stolen work... Wait for it.

Let the band waggon roll!

I might as well jump on the band wagon, with my announcing that my collective written work has absolutely NOTHING to do with AI in any form or fashion. My bad writing stands on it's own, with my owning a 8th grade English class as the last class I took and passed. Hooray for advancing teens through High School, even when they have not passed critical classes. I got out of the system before the 'No Kids Left Behind' phase began, or right at the start of it. If they had passed me through the classes, rather than failing me, as I deserved, then I would have a High School Diploma. Anyways, enough about my education, and lack thereof. AI, detested by me, LLM, the more technical and accurate anagram, again detested by me, along with any other term referring to a computer generating (Read as STEALING) written works based off a concept entered into the computer. It sucks, because AI can not handle all the shit that the American English language contains. Hell, people can't deal with it, how can a programmer, who is not an English professor, program competence, that would be like asking a biologist to construct a deep sea submersible drone. Their expertise does not cover the most basic knowledge necessary to even begin to give relevant plans. So, I, me personally, own, being wholly responsible for every bit of my less than pristine writing. I have seen work from an AI, I hope to never become so pathetic that I repeat activities by the main character in the way every AI work has done.

To cut this to the minimum, I have not and will not ever use AI in my writing.

My Thanks.

I wish to give thanks to those that nominated, and those that voted for my stories. I had two stories nominated, Script To Screen was eighth of eleven in the Short Erotic Story category, while Hot Winter Weekend landed in second place in the Best Erotic Story by a New Author category. I write to entertain myself, but was told I should let others read what I write, rather than just deleting it, like I have for the previous 35 years, when I get frustrated with a story. I guess that some people think my stories have a hint of value, so here is to those that vote letting us authors know you appreciate out efforts.
