Chapter 5 of CotHW is in the submission pipeline. FYI: Izzy has made up her mind to ask for her parent's help. Quite a few other things also happen in this chapter, but Izzy's progress seemed to be the area of most interest for many of you ;)

Chapter 6 is almost to first draft status. I hope to have it written, through the beta readers and posted within the next 5 days (or so).
I've reposted Ch.1 of CotHW with some spelling (& other) corrections.

With that in mind, I've just submitted chapter 4 for your perusal and (hopefully) enjoyment. Chapter 5 is currently under construction and includes a few more Biblical references and probable misinterpretations. I plan to post it before next weekend.

I've just submitted the first chapter of a new story, "Church of the Holy Word".
It's important to remember that I am not a theologian or Biblical scholar, nor do I want to be. But some time back, I read a passage from the book of Titus and it occurred me that it could be easily misinterpreted - which lead me to conjure up this story.
The Biblical passage is: Titus 2:3-4, “(3) Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. (4) Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands...”
The part that stood out to me was the 4th verse "...urge the younger women to love their husbands..."
What if it was interpreted to mean wives urging their daughters to love their fathers?
